Websites for electricians

Show homeowners and businesses exactly what you do, and that you are qualified to do it

A homeowner wanting extra sockets and a landlord needing an electrical safety report are looking for very different things. Your website should speak to both clearly, show your credentials accurately, and make it simple to ask for a quote or book an inspection.

  • Domestic and commercial work on separate pages
  • Inspection and testing enquiries that capture the right details
  • Registrations and qualifications shown exactly as you hold them

What your customers need from your website

Electrical work is something people are right to be careful about. They want reassurance before they get in touch.

Proof you are qualified

Customers look for registrations and qualifications before letting anyone near their wiring. They need to find them easily and trust they are genuine.

Help with a home job

Homeowners want to know you handle jobs like theirs, from rewires and consumer units to lighting and EV chargers, if you offer them.

Confidence for commercial work

Businesses, landlords and agents want to see you can handle their premises, their paperwork and working around their hours.

A simple way to book testing

People needing an inspection often have a deadline. They want to know what you need from them and how to arrange it.

Two kinds of customer, two routes in

A homeowner and a facilities manager use very different words. One searches for a new fuse box, the other for fixed wire testing across several sites. Putting both on one page confuses each of them.

  • Domestic route: friendly, clear explanations of common jobs, what to expect on the day, and a quick quote form.
  • Commercial route: the types of premises you work in, how you schedule work around opening hours, and how you provide certificates and reports.
  • Inspection and testing: its own page, because people often arrive needing a report by a certain date and want to know how to arrange it.

If you only do one of these, we leave the others out, so the website stays focused on the work you want.

What we would put on an electrician’s website

Recommendations we would talk through with you. Everything is shaped around the work you actually do.

Domestic services pages

Separate pages for your main home services, written in plain English so homeowners recognise what they need.

Commercial services pages

A section for commercial customers covering the premises you work in and how you fit around their business.

Inspection and testing enquiry form

A form that asks the useful questions up front, such as property type, number of circuits or rooms, and any deadline.

Credentials shown accurately

Your registrations, qualifications and insurance, displayed using the exact details and logos you are entitled to use and supply to us.

Photos of finished work

Neat installations and tidy consumer units say a lot about how you work. We help you present them well.

Call and quote buttons

Easy to reach on every page, so a customer ready to book does not have to go looking.

How we build your website

  1. Understand your mix of work

Domestic, commercial, testing or all three, and which you want to grow.

  2. Collect your credentials

You send the registration and qualification details you want shown. We only display what you supply.

  3. Plan the two audiences

We structure the website so homeowners and businesses each find their own route.

  4. Build and test

We build for phones first and test your enquiry forms and call buttons properly.

  5. Keep it accurate

When a registration renews or a service changes, we update it as part of your monthly updates.

Questions from electricians

Can you add scheme logos, such as a competent person scheme?

Yes, if you are registered and entitled to use them. Send us your registration details and any logo files provided by the scheme. We will not add any logo, scheme or qualification you have not given us.

Should domestic and commercial work be on separate pages?

Usually, yes. The customers ask different questions and search for different things. Separate pages let each one speak directly to its audience. If you only do one kind of work, we keep it simple.

Can the website take bookings for inspections?

The website can include an enquiry form designed for inspection requests. A full online booking system linked to your calendar is outside the standard packages, but we can discuss it and quote separately.

Can you write about EV chargers or solar?

If you install them, we can create pages for them using the information you give us about the work you do. We will not describe services you do not offer.

Will a website help me get commercial contracts?

A professional website helps commercial customers check you out before they call. It cannot promise contracts, but it removes a common reason for being passed over.
