The brief

KuhinjaHaus designs, supplies and fits genuine Nobilia kitchens from a showroom in Preston, for homes across the North West. A kitchen is a big purchase and customers take their time over it, so the website has two jobs: show the quality of the kitchens properly, and make the next step, a free design consultation, easy to take at any point.

What we built

  • An image-led design. Large, dark kitchen photography with a restrained typeface, so the kitchens do the talking and the site feels as considered as the product.
  • A page for every range. Handleless, matt, shaker, high gloss, natural wood, wood grain and concrete-effect styles each get their own section, with popular finishes, what the style suits best, and links straight to a consultation or to installed examples.
  • A real project gallery. Completed kitchens are organised as individual projects with their location and range, and visitors can filter by style to find kitchens like the one they want.
  • Local area pages. Pages for the towns KuhinjaHaus covers, each written about that area’s homes, so customers and search engines can see where the company works.
  • A clear route to enquire. “Free Design Consultation” sits in the header on every page. On phones, a bar fixed to the bottom of the screen keeps Call and Free Design one tap away.
  • Built to load quickly. A modern static build with optimised images, so a photo-heavy site still loads quickly on a phone.

Why it works

People buying a kitchen want to see real work, understand the options and trust who they are dealing with. The site puts those three things first, and makes contacting the designer the obvious next step from every page.
